Miriam & Eli's Rand-Bryan House NC Wedding Photos
What an absolute treat to photograph this vibrant couple in the sweetest of venues just outside of another brand new destination for me, Raleigh, NC.
Miriam found me around a year ago in the most wonderful way; in my contact form I always ask, "how did you find me", and her answer? "I googled "empathetic wedding photographer" - seriously! - because I'm looking for someone who really loves capturing the emotion of the day and has a feel for people." How awesome is that?
I remember our first phone call, chatting for ages, connecting over our Britishness, and our introverted yet slightly goofy personalities. She told me she was expecting a baby, and that he'd be a part of their wedding day too. I kept everything crossed that she would book me, and before the call was even over she told me they'd love to move forward. It just felt from the very beginning that it was meant to be.
My good friend Joe Appel photographed this wedding with me, and I knew that he would be such a great fit for Miriam & Eli. He is also a little goofy :) and the four of us had the best time together, especially during the sunset portraits at the end of the celebration. A few of the photos below, and many in the slideshow, are his.
Some other highlights: Miriam and her mom's many sweet moments together during the getting ready; Miriam's aunt officiating a very fun, emotional and kiss-filled ceremony (we had so many chances to capture the "first kiss"! The best!!) And of course the kind, funny, lovely people surrounding this utterly delightful couple and their little boy.
Thank you Miriam & Eli, from the bottom of my heart, for trusting in me enough to fly me to NC to share in your day. I hope you enjoy the photos!
